Shortly after finishing the V for Vendetta graphic novel (I still haven't seen the movie), I was immediately inspired to create some sort of V for Vendetta artwork. This was originally a preview of the larger artwork that depicted V's entire face which was posted on Twitter shortly after its creation. Oddly enough, I've grown to like this sort of bizarre peek-a-boo partial profile image better than the original artwork itself.
Anyone who hasn't read V for Vendetta, I highly recommend it. It can be slow and somewhat drags on in some parts (there's just SO much content), but it's one of those stories that really makes you think and challenges your perspective on society and life in general.
This collage artwork is completely recycled-- the image is entirely made up of hand-selected scraps of numerous National Geographic and 17 magazines carefully arranged and adhered to a simple cardboard backing.
